What is Reel?
A Reel is Instagram's short-form vertical video format, modeled on TikTok and capped at 90 seconds. Reels live in their own dedicated tab in the Instagram app and are heavily prioritized in the main Feed and Explore page, which gives them dramatically larger organic reach than static posts or Stories.
